Thank you for your interest in attending a centralized Ramapo workshop, funded through the Department of Youth and Community Development. In order to register for this workshop, your program must receive funding through DYCD.
In this workshop, participants will explore the “what, why, how and who” of their program community. By utilizing Ramapo’s approach, participants will identify their community members (both internal and external stakeholders), discuss their various (and often competing) unmet needs and lagging skills, and learn strategies for building a community that encourages safety (physical and emotional), connectedness, belonging, and engagement. Participants will also explore the relationship between their community’s shared values, goals, and norms, and how they can enlist each of their members to promote and maintain that community.
This professional development opportunity is provided at no cost to you but has a value of $750.00 for DYCD. If you register for and are subsequently unable to attend this session you are responsible for canceling your registration or risk being waitlisted for future events.
