This full-day PD training is a requirement for your site’s participation in the DYCD-sponsored Built Environment Cohort offered by the Center for Architecture. During this session, participants will learn how to explore their local neighborhood architecture with 4th-8th grade students and guide them to design a new building to improve their neighborhood. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and have fun drawing, model building and taking a neighborhood architecture walk.

Each participant should RSVP individually to ensure that their attendance will be recorded by DYCD and to provide an accurate head count. This professional development opportunity is made possible by funding from DYCD. It is provided at no cost to you but has a value of $500 for DYCD. If you register for and are subsequently unable to attend this session you are responsible for canceling your registration or risk being waitlisted for future events.
