This series of six interactive sessions over three months will provide participants witha firm grounding in the best practices, core competencies, and skills needed to understandand use outcomes for program planning and management. This cohort provides an opportunity for peers serving across youth services organizations and Learning Labs to grow and gain new skills together, while enhancing the quality of their programs. The Learning Labs is a new initiative designed to respond to family and community needs posed by COVID-19 by providing childcare and enrichment options for public school students on days when they are scheduled for remote learning.

The components of this professional development and leadership program include:

Group Learning Sessions:

Three large group sessions focused on strategies for managing through uncertainty and designing for and delivering on programmatic impact. Participants will build facilitation and leadership skills, acquire tools for problem-solving and broaden approaches on real-time planning.

Peer Support:

Three smaller group sessions centered on peer problem-solving and support to accelerate learning and real-time application.

One individual coaching session with a CRE facilitator.

All sessions will be conducted virtually.

This program will help you:

• Increase understanding of an outcomes-based approach to program planning and management

• Deepen self-awareness around your management practices, styles, and impact

• Enhance your toolbox of skills and strategies for real-time problem-solving.

The cost of the program per participant is $2,500 and is generously funded by DYCD and is offered at no cost to those who are accepted.

We look forward to seeing you at orientation on Thursday, December 17th!
