by
Along with your participation in ASCC, DYCD and ExpandED Schools are inviting you to participate in a new STEM Cohort experience! Our STEM Cohort is a multi-layered approach for supervisory staff and group leaders aimed at strengthening and maintaining a robust after-school STEM program. The cohort moves on two tracks to employ a framework of trainings, site-visits and interventions that will influence and improve current offerings, and shape future efforts. Track one is composed of CBO Organization staff [Site Directors, Multi-Site Supervisors, Ed/STEM Specialists] and Track two is composed of Line Staff and Group Leaders.
CBO Staff Track:
CBO Staff Track: In Group Leader level trainings aim to:
Build STEM content and facilitation skills
Provide lesson examples and resources
Build a community of practice
Who should attend training: Group Leaders working alongside NYS DEC Educators, Line staff, Staff interested in STEM / non-supervisory
Upon completion of the cohort, CBOs will be equipped with the information and tools necessary to employ better-trained workers with skills in high-demand areas.
