Level 1: Introduction to Group Facilitation – Two day training 1/28- 1/29, 2020
This introductory training is ideal for staff who wish to gain familiarity with the art form of group facilitation. This 12-hour session completed over 2 days will allow an individual to understand the key concepts associated with group facilitation, regardless of the setting or the number of participants. Participants will be guided through an experiential process that will help them understand the key differences between facilitation and instruction with an emphasis on design of session and use of activities as a way of engaging participants. Session will cover all aspects of group facilitation from Ice Breaker to Reflection with all things in between. Ideal for any staff member of any level who wants to be able to move groups of individuals from one level to the next.
