by
Thank you for your interest in attending a centralized Ramapo workshop, funded through the Department of Youth and Community Development. In order to register for this workshop, your program must receive funding through DYCD.
In this two part series workshop, participants will be introduced to the three-tier restorative justice model. They will learn specific practices and strategies that support an effective facilitation for each tier and understand the “why” restorative approach. Participants will explore the values and expectations of a healthy program community and learn strategies for engaging student voice in establishing program culture. Community stakeholders will learn strategies in resolving conflict in ways that restore relationships and a specific line of inquiry that identifies harm, accountability, and support for those who have been harmed. This workshop fulfills hours for SACC requirements (1) & (3).
This professional development opportunity is provided at no cost to you but has a value of $3000.00 for DYCD. If you register for and are subsequently unable to attend this session you are responsible for canceling your registration or risk being waitlisted for future events.
