Working Together: Sharing Our Stories and Program Examples

All Vibrant Training sessions for DYCD-funded program staff will be facilitated online using Zoom throughout the end of May. We appreciate your patience with this process, as it is new technology for many of us.
Following your registration on EventBrite, you will receive the link to the Zoom session in reminder emails.
After attending the session, you will receive a certificate of attendance via email along with the materials shared in the session within 72 hours.
Target Audience
This intensive workshop is the second part of the Working Together series. All regsitrants for this workshop must attend the first session on March 12th from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. in order to attend this session. The session is intended for all education specialists, caseworkers, program directors, supervisors, and program staff within DYCD-funded programs that provide case management services.
Workshop Description
Working Together: Diversity and Inclusion Practices is a TWO-session training. In the first full-day interactive workshop participants will gain an understanding of diversity and inclusion practices within programs, clarify the importance and impacts of such practices, and learn inclusive behaviors to ensure all clients and co-workers are safe, respected and affirmed.
In this follow up 2-hour session on May 19th, participants will workshop specific examples and experiences from their programs and will continue to explore bias, discrimination, micro-aggressions, positive language, and further map intersectionality.
This workshop requires that you attend the first workshop held on May 12th, 2020 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
