Family Unity in Our Community is geared around strengthening relationships between families and community. It is our belief that family and community connections are initiatives to decrease risk factors that arise from high levels of crime, violence and poverty. Family Unity in Our Community, also believes that bridging the gaps between family and community members will allow participants the opportunity to become diversified as they will acquire knowledge about the various cultures and ethnic groups present within their neighborhoods.
